James Caplan co-founded First Financial with his father, Michael Caplan, back in 1997. He boasts a breadth of experience that includes residential and commercial finance, as well as lifetime mortgages, insurance, and critical illness cover.

He has been responsible for building the company’s network of professional introducers, which includes leading local estate agents, solicitors, and accountants. James is dedicated to getting results for clients but is equally passionate about developing his team members and their careers, helping them to achieve their ambitions too.

In his spare time, James focuses on his family, cycling and is a coach on the McGuire Programme, helping others to overcome stammering.
